Tuesday Feb. 19th
Join the staff from sportszone in an action packed day of your favorite gym games.  Children participate in a variety of games such as street hockey, soccer, football,, dodgeball, basketball, whiffleball and many others.  Don't miss out on the fun!

Wednesday Feb. 20th
Children will build a LEGO city and then learn the different aspects of running a city. As our students build a fully-planned and intricately-designed Lego city, they also learn to govern it. Students learn about elections, laws, city planning, economics and the environment as they serve on a city council which must make key governing decisions about their city. They work on committees to design their official city flag, design their city’s currency and create a constitution of laws. Students have the opportunity to run for mayor, open their own business, debate city issues and design city buildings. Social studies, history and civics have never been so fun!  During the afternoon participants will enjoy pizza and a movie!

Thursday Feb. 21st
Staff from Knucklebones will join us to run some amazing games in our gym!
Recreation staff will take the group to the Ipswich YMCA.  Participants will have one hour of open swim time.  Children will have a period of open gym time at the rec center during drop off between 9 and 10 am.  Each child who goes swimming is required to take a swim test.  Those who wish not to take the test or who do not pass the test will be required to wear a life jacket provided by the YMCA.  If your child has their own life jacket you may pack that for them to wear.  The bus will depart and return to the recreation center.
