Field Hockey Women on the Field

The clinic is open to beginners or players with experience entering grades 3-8. Clinic will focus on: proper basic skills, safety when playing, rules of the game and basic strategy. Players should bring: stick, mouth guard, goggles, shin pads and water. (Some extra equipment will be made available)

Instructor Bio
Melissa Larocque graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University where she captained its Division I league championship field hockey team. She also chaired NU's Student Athlete Advisory Board and earned America East academic honors. After college, she coached in the US Futures program and at Bentley College's Elite Field Hockey camp. Coach Larocque spent four years in Washington, DC where she coached varsity field hockey at the National Cathedral School. While in DC she also coached club field hockey for the Southeast Storm. She joined the Pingree coaching staff in 2013 and is proud to be the varsity field hockey head coach.
